Terrorist attacks are happening all around the world, including Asia, beyond the Middle East, and Europe. South Korea is no longer safe from the terrorist attacks because international terrorist groups are making threats of terrorism to Korean people.
To protect the life and property of its citizens and secure national and public safety, the Korean government has enacted the Anti-Terrorist Act (March 3, 2016.) and established the National Counter Terrorism Center (June 4, 2016.).
National Counterterrorism Committee maintains counterterrorism preparedness 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year, and will exert its best efforts to make Korea safe from terrorist attacks.
Thank you very much.
